GODSENT through to PGL Stockholm Major; FURIA secure Legends

A three-way tie for third place in Group B will see TeamOne, Evil Geniuses, and Triumph face off in a run-off tiebreaker.

GODSENT have secured qualification to the PGL Stockholm Major after coming out on top of Triumph in their final match of Group B in IEM Fall North America, defeating Danny "⁠Cxzi⁠" Strzelczyk and company 16-11 on Inferno, ensuring a top two finish and a playoff berth in the event.

FURIA also narrowly survived a highly-contested affair against Evil Geniuses, recovering from 1-5 and 12-14 deficits to clinch a win in regulation on Inferno.

The victory, coupled with EXTREMUM failing to book a spot in playoffs and heading to a fifth place decider, ensures FURIA will have enough points for a top three finish on the Regional Major Ranking leaderboard, granting them a spot in the Legends Stage.

00NATION continued their streak of defeats as they fell in a one-sided domestic match-up to TeamOne, ending the group stage with an 0-5 record. TeamOne's victory, coupled with Evil Geniuses falling to FURIA and GODSENT beating Triumph, leaves the third place spot in Group B open as the event now requires a tiebreaker to determine the final standings.

However, for TeamOne and Triumph, going to the fifth place decider would do nothing to further their Major hopes as they are now entirely out of contention for a spot in Stockholm, as EXTREMUM would finish with more points regardless of the outcome.

The pair of teams can, however, play spoiler to Evil Geniuses, who need to both make it to the fifth place decider andbeat EXTREMUM in the match-up in order to qualify. Equally, Aaron "⁠AZR⁠" Ward's side would need to beat Evil Geniuses if they were to advance to the fifth place decider, but are guaranteed a spot in the Major if either TeamOne or Triumph were to advance instead.
